Norfolk Weekend

Saturday morning, and we're off to Wales... hang on, no - there's a huge black cloud on the weathermap, so we head off to the only sunny part of the UK - Norfolk! Zipping up the motorway (a couple of super-sneaky routes through London and then through the Fens), and up past Kings Lynn to the north west coast. First stop Ingoldisthorpe, where Jen's mum went to school. Next a brief stop in Heacham, and a sneaky (but rough) track through to Hunstanton, where we watched some cool kite-surfers making great jumps.

Then along the coast to Burnham Deepdale, where stayed the night at a super-cool hostel (www.deepdalefarm.co.uk), and headed off to the Jolly Sailor for a lovely dinner and couple of pints. Next day, off to Cley, where Jen spent her holidays when she was very little - a quick climb up the windmill for a beautiful view over the marshes. Drove via the backroads back to Hunstanton for a very late lunch on the cliffs. Now we're on our way home - this site has been created entirely 'on the road', using David's laptop (holding on tight round the corners!)..
