Fossil hunting in Hastings

Having watched a great program about dinosaurs on the TV, David and I went to Hastings to try and find some dinosaur footprints and possibly some bones.. We went to the cliffs just east of Hastings, and had a lovely walk in blustery wind through a petrified forest, and along the cliffs. We got VERY muddy at one point!! The rocks were amazing, and we found fossilised wood but no dinosaurs (the cliff was rather unstable, and we didn't want to dig too far in case we became fossils too!). The rock patterns we saw more than made up for that, though...
