We had a nice walk round St Ann's head, the cliffs are magnificent there, very pretty place to go to.
The winds weren't great during our visit (must have something to do with me taking
more luggage than the rest of the car combined!), but I managed a little bit of kiting on the
wonderful beaches there. Taught myself to go toeside on Newgale beach which was fun. Mum &
Jen missed it because they went to
Hilton Gardens nearby,
apparently that was very good, and Jen took a great photo of a moth (see below). After a number of days in Pembrokeshire we headed up the coast to New Quay, saw some dolphins on the first night. Visited Llangranog which has a great cafe, the Patio Cafe in Llangranog. Worth the scenic detour of the main road. The others went on a boat trip from New Quay, I saved my energy for a short session in the water on the final day near Borth. Managed to get up in 10mph a couple of times, needed some more wind though. Then it was back home after a very nice holiday |
