FInlay's big outing

Mummy & Daddy said we were going to go visit Gangan.  So i got in the car and we set off.  But when we got out we weren't in Singleton.  First we saw some horses, and then we went to a big castle.  There were lots of people dressed in funny outfits.

Then we saw lots of ancient people making swords and playing music.  Some of them had armour on and it looked very heavy.  There was a lady making baskets out of trees.

When we went inside the castle there were some men in funny yellow costumes.  They had long sticks called muskets.  After a lot of faffing around stuffing things inside the muskets they went Bang! very loudly.  Except one which had to be done again several times before it went bang too.  It was all very exciting.

Then we went into the buildings and looked around.  It was very exciting.  Most of it was still in ruins, but they had made the kitchens look very pretty.  Mummy asked Daddy if we could have a kitchen this big and he said maybe in the next house.

After the castle we went back to Singleton for lunch.  Then I tried to go to sleep but my head was spinning from all the excitement so I didn't sleep at all.  So Mummy & Daddy took me to Goodwood.

I hadn't been to Goodwood before, it had lots of cars and aeroplanes and it was very exciting.
  • The Goodwood Harvard
  • Lancia at Goodwood
  • 100 uses for a piece of string
  • Finlay's favourite spot
  • Yellow car!
  • Classic Car, Goodwood
  • Old MG Police Car, Goodwood

After we left my head was spinning even more. Cars. Planes. Castles. Muskets. Swords. Cars. Planes. Swords. So much to take in for a little munchkin.  I sat in the back of the car looking at my rabbit all the way home and didn't say anything.  Then we got home and Daddy put me in my bed and I fell asleep and had the bestest dreams ever.
